The one thing that I have learned is to get items in different forms and lots of it when it comes to sells. Last December, a couple of Glitter websites were having a 40-50% off sale on their stock of glitter and color. I think I had too much fun, because I got my glitter for year or maybe more.
The other thing that I learn is to get molds that you need and then you look and no one has it, so what do you do. Well, I make some of my molds or use items around my house to make molds; sometimes it does not work and sometimes it does. It is amazing what you can make with something that you found in the kicthen or office that you have not used.
Creating something with glitter or no glitter is exciting for me and yet I am still learning how to work with resin. Resin is sometimes good and bad, but you work with it. Playing with Glitter and color is a different story and that is usally messy in the process. Glitter goes everywhere, and if anyone has used or got a card with it, you know it! The one thing I noticed about glitter is that you can mix it and make a new form or color mix. It's amazing when things turn it really well and you are covered in it!
Color is just something else. If you have not learned what colors make what, it is ok. This were you practice and you get better every single time. I have made some bad decisions on color mixin, but sometimes it turns out to be good. I just add different colors to make what I want and need. If it does not turn out, I just add a color to make it better then add glitter or something else to work with it.
Glitter and Color with Resin is just the tip of the iceberg and you learn on the way as you create different gems. This month, I will practicing and mixing with my new glitter (s) that really go with Valentine's Day with my heart molds that I have used in the past. If you have any suggests of what color (s), please comment.
